These are surprisingly comfortable! I find Docs usually need a fair bit of breaking in but these are lovely right away with no pinching or rubbing. The colour is a smidge more purple than the photos – it's more of a deeper sort of berry colour rather than the fuchsia in the pics. The colour feels just as fun but actually a little more wearable and versatile in person, which is great. I usually wear an 8.5-9 in other brands and typically wear an 8 in Docs which run small, and the size 8 fits me perfectly. I rated these "true to size" based on these being sized consistently with other Dr. Marten boots.
