love these boots, so happy I was able to find my size

First of all, I usually don't wear brown and black - minimally. Burgundy - that's my palette. But the raw leather and the matte look - caught my eye. It took me a good week, if not 2 to decide to purchase them. I opened up the box and the expression 'woaw' came naturally. I was apprehensive about the fitment and since I DON'T wear boots at all (I wear Trail shoes with Gore-Tex during the winter - driving with boots, walking with boots, for me it's like amplifying the gravity - sucked in and slowed down =) - so since I don't wear boots I was cringing at the possibility that they wouldn't fit (I went 1/2 size down) or that I woudn't be comfortable in them - I waited 2 days to try them on! The look : 10/10. I ended up trying them on: OMG, I lost 2 days for nothing! =P Awesome, I mean outstanding fitment, just the right 'snug' I like, the way I like to wear my hockey skates. And even with the that contemporary look, I still get the sporty feeling. I took a sprint with them to and fro my postbox (2 x 50m) and it almost felt like I was wearing my trail shoes. I went to Iceland a couple years ago for the New Year - I HAD to wear boots...I had a pair of Salomon for the day and a pair of Timberland for the evening. I didn't like both.I even bought a pair of Steve Madden after that to wear with my pea coat - never did. Even Nike shoes, I prefer the 'Low' versions. All this being said and to finally round off my review: all the time I should have been wearing boots and I didn't, I'm going to catch it back - no doubt. I might have to wear them with shorts during the summer, but still =P And for that, I need the assistance of BOATHOUSE --> I need to get my hands on a pair in Navy (Blue/Indigo) or Green (Teal)! 💯 ___Cheers! ➖Mo.

Great all round boots. Very comfy. I love the look of the leather, I hope to keep that look when it's time to apply boot protector or polish. Any tips anyone?
